Dheeraj Kalladka

Background

Dr Kalladka has a CCT in neurology and stroke and aims to provide bespoke and evidence-based treatment and management advice. He has more than 10 years of experience looking after patients with headaches and strokes, two of the most common neurological disorders. He qualified in Bangalore, India (Medicine 2002) and worked at the National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS) before moving to the UK. He also has qualifications from the Universities of Warwick (PGA Healthcare), and Leeds (PGC Epilepsy), and has been certified by ABN and RCP (Neurology Specialist Certificate Exam). His neurology training was in Glasgow, Scotland where he completed research in stem cell therapies for stroke gaining several high-impact scientific publications. He has published more than 30 scientific articles. Currently, Dr Kalladka works at the Trust and is involved in clinical research. He is on the National Stroke Advisory Committee for ABN and is part of the sustainability group within BIASP.
